Growing up in Africa, there was always something powerful about colour.
Colour was never shy.
It was rich, expressive, confident and full of life.
From the fabrics I saw growing up to the elegance of women who carried themselves with
strength and grace, I fell in love with boldness very early in life. The colours felt powerful…
almost fearless. A little like the lioness. 
Even long before I built Lioness by TF, I knew that if I ever created a global fashion
brand, I wanted it to reflect that boldness. Not just in colour, but in presence. I wanted women to wear something that made them feel seen without having to say a word.
That was the beginning of our luxury statement kimonos.

One thing I have always wanted women to understand is that elegance does not always have to be extreme to be powerful.
You do not always have to “snatch” everything to look beautiful.

That balance became one of the biggest inspirations behind our kimono collection.
